The terms and conditions set out below are applicable to the supply of products made by Grand Hall Europe B.V. to the buyer, hereafter referred to as the Customer. Grand Hall Europe B.V. operate www.grillgrate.co.uk and are the UK distributor of the GrillGrate product.
2.1 We do not send random marketing e-mails to personal e-mail addresses (SPAM).
2.2 We make use of the following cookies - frontend, __utma, __utmb, __utmc,__utmz, these are used for standard shopping cart functionailty and anonymous website usage details.
2.3 We do not collect information deemed "sensitive" under the Data Protection Act 1998. Your address details (but NOT your credit card details, see below) are retained on a restricted access system within our internal systems which is in keeping with both our security policy and the law.
3.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds sterling.
3.2 All prices above £75 are inclusive of carriage charges for delivery to all UK mainland destinations.
3.3 Carriage charges to all other destinations other than the UK mainland are available upon enquiry with Grill Grate UK.
4.1 Payments must be made in Pounds sterling only, unless otherwise specified, by one of the following payment methods:
Major credit cards as listed: MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta.
Cheques made payable to Grand Hall Europe B.V..
Bank transfer direct to Grand Hall Europe B.V..
4.2 Grand Hall Europe B.V. does not retain your credit or debit card details on its systems. When you reach the page for entering your card information, you are connected directly to the Protx secure server - you can tell this by the change in the web address on your browser. Protx are our payment service provider, and will process any charges or refunds to your card. We use Protx because they offer the leading industry standard in secure payment transactions, and they are one of the largest Internet payment service providers in Europe
5. TRANSFER OF RISK
The risk in the goods shall fully pass to the Customer once the goods have been delivered by our nominated transport provider and signed for.
All products are despatched from our warehousing facilities. Unless requested by the Customer, all products must be signed for at the time delivery is made. The Customer must request any alternative delivery method at the time of the ordering and goods will be despatched at the Customers own risk.
6.2 SHIPPING CHARGES:
All the products contained on our website are delivered free of charge to the vast majority of the U.K. mainland. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and the Scottish Isles & Highlands additional carriage charges will be applicable. If you are in doubt please call us to confirm these charges prior to ordering.
6.3 DELIVERY DATE:
Grand Hall Europe B.V. aim to deliver all goods within four working days from processing of payment. Despatch normally takes place on the same day as payment is processed. Any orders which will exceed 28 days to fulfil, the Customer will be notified in writing and will be offered the option of order cancellation and a refund of payment. Any products not available at the time of ordering will be despatched to the Customer as soon as is possible. Grand Hall Europe B.V. cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers or transport providers.
6.4 EXPRESS SHIPPING
In many cases we are able to ship orders on a "Next Day" delivery basis for an additional charge. If you require this service please enquire with us to confirm the availability of the product and the additional cost for transportation prior to ordering.
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time period after delivery, and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods, unless, within a reasonable time period after their delivery the Customer notifies Grand Hall Europe B.V. that the goods are rejected. If no notification of rejection is received, Grand Hall Europe B.V. will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose and therefore reserve the right not to accept any rejection of goods at a later date.
8. RETURNS PROCEDURE
8.1 If the goods are rejected within the time scale as defined in clause 6, the Customer shall comply with the Grand Hall Europe B.V. returns procedure as defined below. Grand Hall Europe B.V. will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.
8.2 The Customer must contact Grand Hall Europe B.V. by either telephone or by e-mail to obtain a returns authorisation. A returns code will be issued and must be referred to in all correspondence. This number must also be clearly marked on any returned packages. Grand Hall Europe B.V. will arrange for the relevant packages to be collected from the Customer. A collection charge will apply to returns where goods are not damaged or faulty.
8.3 In cases where the faulty or damaged goods are rejected within a reasonable time, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to the location specified by Grand Hall Europe B.V. before the refund or replacement can be issued. Refunds are made within 30 days of cancellation.
9.1 Cancellations are only accepted if the Customer complies with Grand Hall Europe B.V. cancellation procedure and before any goods have been despatched. If the order has been despatched prior to the cancellation, the returns procedure as defined in clause 7 (8.2 and 8.3) above will apply. If the procedure is not followed, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
9.2 Cancellations can be made either by telephone or by e-mail directly with Grand Hall Europe B.V.. Please remember, order despatch normally takes place the same day as payment is processed.
9.3 Cancellations and returns requests made after a product has been delivered and is deemed fit for purpose need to be authorised by Grand Hall Europe B.V. and given an appropriate returns number. The cost and risk of returning these goods is solely the customers. A credit will only be made once the returned goods have been inspected and deemed fit for resale. Grand Hall Europe B.V. can organise the collection of these goods and the cost subtracted from the amount to be credited to the customer or the goods can be shipped and paid for by the customer on their own nominated carrier with the appropriate insurance cover. Returned goods must be in their original packaging, complete with non of the internal packaging having been opened.
These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with U.K. Law.
